Auto Tuesdays: Basic Fall Car Maintenance

fall car maintenance

Fall is in the air and that means it’s time to start thinking about car maintenance. Oil changes tend to be popular in the fall and spring months, but there are a few other things to consider besides dumping the oil:

  1. Tire rotations
  2. Cabin air filter
  3. Transmission fluid
  4. Power steering
  5. Coolant
  6. Fuel filter
  7. Brake fluid
  8. Brake maintenance – pads, rotors and drums
  9. Alignments & tire balancing

This is just a basic list. Your car may have other things that need to be worked on that I haven’t listed. It’s important if you’re doing your own maintenance, to refer to your owner’s manual to check through all the things that might need some attention this time of year.
